Rakesh Wazir appointed mentor PHDCCI Jammu region chapter

JAMMU, Oct, 24: PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry, a 115 years old organization, with more than 1,30,000 direct and indirect members all over India formally appointed Rakesh Wazir Immediate Former Chairman PHDCCI Jammu Region Chapter, President Hotel & Restaurant Association, Katra & Member Tourism Advisory Board J&K government as its Mentor for Jammu Region Chapter by its National President Sanjay Aggarwal.
Recently Sanjay Aggarwal, Pradeep Multani & Saket Dalmia have respectively taken over as President, Sr. Vice President & Vice President of the PHD Chamber of Commerce & Industry in the Annual General Meeting held at New Delhi.
Wazir is having business in Hospitality, Retail and Oil sector and is the Managing Director of Katra Mata Vaishno Devi Hotels & Restaurants Pvt.ltd. Other companies and remained associated with PHD Chamber for many years in different capacities including its Co-Chairman and then Chairman for Jammu Region Chapter.
While speaking on the occasion Wazir thanked the National President and whole PHDCCI team for bestowing this responsibility on him.
He said that though he has remained associated with Chamber in different capacities and is feeling honoured and is thankful to the leadership for bestowing their confidence on him once again and assigning this new responsibility as Mentor.
He said that Chamber has got a long history and have contributed a lot in the nation building and every effort would be made to strengthen this organization further particularly in Jammu region and to act as real pressure group and a bridge between Industry, people and business community on one hand and the governments either Union Territory or center on the other.
