Mufti trying to instigate youth for violence: Raman Suri
10/25/2020 12:24:13 AM

Early Times Report

JAMMU, Oct 24: "Former Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti's displaying dumped flag of erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir after more than a year of the formation of Union Territory, not only shows her political bankruptcy but also establishes that she is trying to instigate youth for violence, who fortunately have understood that their future lies in peace, tranquility and development, not in such moves".
This was stated by Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Executive Member Raman Suri, who said that Mehbooba Mufti's statement asking people to fight for Kashmir cause and not raise any other flag till the flag of erstwhile state is returned is seditious in nature for which she should be booked.
This is nothing but immature understanding of the political situation, especially when J&K has moved on. Raman Suri added that Article 370 has been abrogated by both the houses of Parliament and then signed by President of India. She is just trying to play to gallery and exploit the sentiments of people. Youth of Jammu and Kashmir have realised that their future lies in peace, prosperity and development due to which they are seeking admissions in better colleges and universities. Even those who were misguided are returning to mainstream. Politicians like Mehbooba, Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah have all blood of innocent young Kashmiris on their hands. Instead of helping young boys and girls to pursue their passions, several thousand youth were exploited and got killed during their tenures. Still ironical is that when all this was happening in Kashmir, children of these leaders were studying and working in other parts of the country or abroad.
