Doda Police organize 'Run for Unity' in memory of Police Martyrs

DODA, Oct, 26: In continuation of sports festival week, Doda Police today organized Run for Unity here from the District Police Line to Ganpat Crossing Pul Doda.
The RUN FOR UNITY for above 20 was organized in Memory of Police Martyrs,
A number of civilian as well as security forces including J&K Police participated in the run for unity. Rakesh Kumar of Dessa finished the race first; Sandeep Singh of Bhagwah finished second and Nitan Singh of Dessa ended up as 3rd.
The participants were awarded with appreciation Certificates and suitable Cash Reward and Trophies.
Those who attended the Run for unity, included, Raj Kumar, SP (Ops.) Doda; Mohd Ayaz Mughal, District Education Planning Officer Doda; Neel Kant, Dy. Commandant SSB Doda and other Police officers of District Police Doda as well as other Civil Society members. The COVID protocol was strictly followed during the course of events.
The Senior Superintendent of Police Doda, Mumtaz Ahmed thanked the public and participants and all coordinating agencies, especially Youth and Sports Department and media fraternity for their co-operation and huge participation.
