| NOPRUF demands for restoration of old pension scheme | | |

Ramban, Oct 26: National Old Pension Restoration United Front (NOPRUF) has called for Post card letters Movement W.e.f 17/10/20 throughout the country with an aim to urge the government for restoration of old pension scheme for NPS employees.
Pertinently NPS (a new pension scheme) was implemented in 2004 in centre and in Jammu and Kashmir it was implemented in 2010 after winding up the old pension scheme (OPS). Not happy with new pension scheme, the employees working under NPS are demanding restoration of old pension scheme for all employees and claiming that NPS is not a secure pension scheme for their post-retirement life.
UT President Gulzabair Daing has appealed all the NPS employees of the Union Territory to bring the voice of old pension Scheme through post cards Movement programme in support of restoration of OPS in order to make it successful W.e.f from 26th of October 2020 across the UT.
Daing has informed all those NPS employees who are desirous to observe post card movement and write slogans like ",One Nation One Pension", "Restore Old Pension" etc in the Post card letters . Then the employees would share same photograps on social media sites during post these post card letters.
"We hope that the national level Post card letters call would definitely strengthen the voice of NPS employees for restoration of old pension scheme", he added. |
