Samba police organizes Cultural Programme

SAMBA, Oct, 27: In the ongoing series of events under Flag Day programmes organized by District Police Samba in the loving memory of J&K Police Martyrs, Samba Police organized a Cultural Programme at Dogra Law College, Bari Brahmana to provide a platform to the young, budding and enthusiastic artists. The event was inaugurated by Chief Guest Rajesh Sharma-JKPS, SSP Samba. Besides, Aijaz Ahmed Zargar, Addl.SP Samba and all territorial officers of district Police, officers from civil administration, prominent citizens, youth, students, family members of Martyrs, various members of media fraternity and other dignitaries also witnessed the occasion.
The motto behind holding such programme by District Police Samba was to move a step further towards the betterment of society for creating general awareness among the people and to provide a platform to the young, budding and enthusiastic artists by showcasing their talent. About 150 people from different walks of life across the district witnessed the programme. Civil society members praised the efforts of J&K Police in conducting such programme which create an impact in the mind of people and carry the moral of the same to the grass root level for the transformation of the society. The cultural programme event includes the cultural activities viz. Singing, Dancing, Skit, Storytelling etc. for the participants with no age bar. All the participants from across the district showcased their abilities by presenting dance, skits, songs and various other cultural activities.
