Former Legislator, Sports Person, public delegation call on Lt Governor

SRINAGAR, Oct, 27: Former Legislator, Sports Person, and public delegation today called on the Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha here at Raj Bhavan and projected their issues and grievances.
Zaffar Iqbal Manhas, former MLC called on the Lt Governor and apprised him about various developmental and important public issues.
A delegation of residents of Pulwama apprised the Lt Governor about various local issues and demands pertaining to upgradation of health facilities; traffic management; Sanitation; youth-related issues, etc.
Meanwhile, top female cyclist and Athlete, Insha Wadoo also met the Lt Governor and discussed with him about her desire to open a Gymnasium centre.
The Lt Governor, while interacting with the members of the delegations, observed that the UT Government is set out on a mission to achieve holistic development in J&K and the welfare of all sections of the society.
J&K Government is committed to promoting every sport and to reaching out to every sportsperson of the region with the necessary equipment, infrastructure and facilities, he added.
