SSP Traffic City directs for smooth Vehicular Movements in view of Darbar Move

Jammu, Oct 27: A meeting was held by SSP Traffic City Jammu Sh Shiv Kumar Sharma-JKPS in the Conference Hall of ZPHQ Jammu on Monday. The meeting was attended by ASP Traffic City Jammu, Sh Pardeep Singh Gouria-JKPS, DySP (T) City North Mrs Shivali Kotwal, DySP (T) City South Sh Sunil Singh, DySP (T) Rural area of City Jammu, DySP Neeraj Paddyar, DTIs/SOs of Traffic Police City Jammu. SSP Traffic Jammu took stock of the overall Traffic scenario of City Jammu as well as all major areas on the out skirts of Jammu City and on this occasion stressed upon the officers to take all necessary measures to smoothen the flow of Traffic in City Jammu and all areas of Jammu outskirts in view of ensuing Darbar Move during which the volume of Traffic increases. SSP Traffic Jammu issued directions to the concerned for effective regulation of traffic as well as enforcement against traffic violators particularly against illegal parking. SSP Traffic Jammu directed the officers /officials of Traffic Jammu to take effective action against Stunt bikers who not only endanger their own lives but also that of others. Serious concern was expressed over traffic congestion in busy areas particularly around hospitals and directions were issued to the concerned to make ensure that these areas are free from on-road parking and traffic jamming, so that people in general and patients in particular will not suffer.
