JAMMU, Oct, 28: Following his routine of visiting different areas of Jammu West Assembly segment, Former State President BJP and Ex-Minister, Sat Sharma (CA) visited Vijay Nagar area of ward 40 and reviewed the progress of completed Blacktopping works in the area. He also interacted with the inhabitants. He was accompanied by District President Munish Khajuria, Corporator Neelam Nargotra, Mandal President Keshav Chopra, District General Secretaries Rajesh Gupta and Karan Sharma, PWD officials, local residents and political activists of the area.
The works were done under the supervision of PWD and areas covering the works include Vijay Nagar, Gole Gujral, Saini Enclave and other adjoining areas. The works will be done at an estimated cost of approximately Rupees 40 lakhs.
During the visit, Sat interacted with many people and listened to their grievances. Sat Sharma said that the main motive of his visit was to check the ongoing and completed development works in the ward and to interact with inhabitants. The residents, with whom I interacted, gave a positive response concerning development works done in the area, he informed.
