J&K's all round development ultimate goal of Modi Government: Kavinder
10/28/2020 11:51:17 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct, 28: Bringing development to J&K as never before is the mission of BJP-led government at the Centre and its sturdy moves in this direction are more than enough to prove that soon the newly carved out UT will become the part and parcel of pool of states which comes under the top ranking category as far as development is concerned.
This was stated by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta in a handout released here on Wednesday.
Making it clear that in the dictionary used by BJP there is no scope for the words like discrimination, prejudice or lopsidedness, the senior BJP functionary said that the ultimate aim of his party is to install edifice rationally and bring in vistas of opportunities for the residents of J&K without any bias on the basis of region, religion or any other distinction.
He said the revolutionary steps taken by the Modi-led dispensation including abrogation of Article 370 made it possible for the people here to avail all the benefits which were readily available to their counterparts in other parts of the country but denied to J&K residents due to short sightedness of political class that ruled the region in the past over 70 years.
"As averred by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on various occasions and at different platforms that he has special affinity towards J&K and its people, and he will leave no stone unturned to ensure peace, progress and prosperity in the UT therefore raising doubts on the same is pointless. It is now the matter of months or days that a positive change will start becoming visible on ground as far as development profile of J&K is concerned", Kavinder asserted adding that people will soon get to know that BJP religiously believes in Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas.
"Going strict against trouble mongers in the Valley and elsewhere the peace is already knocking the doors of J&K and it is likely that soon the bloodshed will end and the people will once again live without any fear of bullets and bombs", he said adding that BJP-led government will not disappoint any of the countrymen who had reposed faith in the leadership of PM Modi by re-electing him consecutively for second term.
