10/29/2020 11:18:06 PM
Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Oct, 29: Hundreds of JKNPP activists hold protest with black ribbon against New Land Law for J&K. While leading a strong protest in Udhampur today by the Former MLA & Panthers Party President Balwant Singh Mankotia said that the Central Government is imposing black laws on Jammu and Kashmir & experimenting. He said that according to new land law any person from all over the country can buy land in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that recently by made mandatory Domicile Certificate in Jammu and Kashmir, the government had said that anyone who stays in Jammu and Kashmir for the period of 15 years can become a citizen and buy land here. But at once, the Central Government had a dream which implemented the black law on us. Mankotia said that the Central Government had first enacted black laws to sell the jobs of our youth and now the lands of the people here, which will not be tolerated at any cost.
Mankotia said that on 05 August 2019, the Home Minister Amit Shah himself admitted in a statement in the Parliament that Jammu and Kashmir is lagging behind the rest of the states in terms of education, development and now what happened in a year which Jammu Kashmir has done so methodically? Mankotia questioned
Mankotia said that already Jammu and Kashmir is lagging behind the rest of the states for 70 years and now the central government is playing with the future of our people by imposing new black laws on us. He said that this law should have come after 20 years but for the Central Government Jammu and Kashmir is nothing more than a laboratory.
Mankotia warned that if this black law is not withdrawn by the Central Government, then in the coming days, there will be a huge demonstration by the Panthers Party for which Central Government will be responsible only.
Senior leaders, sarpanch, panch, councilor, etc. were present on this occasion.
