| Land donors of PHE Deptt demand regularization | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, Oct, 29: Land donor to PHE Department Union demanded their regularization as promised by the Government.
Speaking on the occasion, members of union said that department had taken land for construction of water reservoirs tanks, tank quarters on schemes were installed and water tanks and quarters were constructed. They said that they gave land measuring 5 marlas to 1 kanal to PHE Department on promise of a permanent job to one person of such land donors in lieu of land without any pre condition we were working in said department since 10 - 15 years without wages and unfortunately after that government has provided us a casual labourers job instead of a permanent job in 2013-2015 3. During the period of BJP, PDP, coalition govt. we meet to Sham Lal Choudhary then the PHE Minister and Dr. Hasib Drabu Finance Minister who have promised us for our regularization but unfortunately they have failed to continue the process. At the present time the value of our land is about 20 to 30 lacs per kanal which means the price of 1 marla is about 2 to 3 lacs so please consider this point. Some of our land owners who have provided their land to the PHE Department and Irrigation Department since 2003, 04 onwards still are waiting to their orders in said departments we demand that provide them a permanent job to lieu of land. Some of our land donors are facing to a voucher issue but the land donors are not falling in this criteria because they had engaged through a proper channel we demand withdraw the criteria of 12 vouchers. |
