JKEJAC holds protest against SRO-324

JAMMU, Oct, 29: J&K Employees Joint Action Committee led by Babu Hussain Malik, President J&K UT held a dharna/protest demonstration against the discriminatory SRO-324 Article 226(2) of J&K Civil Service Rules issued by the Union Territory Government.
Babu Hussain Malik highly condemned this discriminatory order and demand its immediate revocation of this impartial order. The curtailment in retirement age from 60 to 48 years and period of service of Government employees to 22years for giving forcefully retirement which is not genuine. The employees are feeling insecure and suppressed due to this draconian order. The other demands include; 1. Removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre/amendment in SRO-333. Notionally benefits w.e.f. 01/1996 and monetary w.e.f 02/2003. Restoration of two additional increments on' clearing Secretariat Assistant Examination Course which has been wrongly stopped vide SRO-333 dated 02-08-2018. Regularization of Daily-Wagers/Casual Labourers/Contractual and adhoc basis employees. Redressing long pending issues of Non Gazzetted Accounts Employees. Implementation of SRO 160 and SRO 272 should be for promotion avenues. Regularization of NRHM, Khidrnat Centre, Home Guards, Asha workers, Anganwari workers and Helpers, Contractual Teachers and Lecturers, SPO's, Rehbar-e,Khel, Rehbar-e-Ziarat, Rehbar-e-Janglat employees 5. 5 days a week as per the pattern of Civil Secretariat. 6. Revoke SRO-24 for regularization/ SRO-202 should be revoked completely.
