Gole Mela stretch develops pits after few days of repair

UDHAMPUR, Oct 29: Sub-standard work on a vital road stretch in the town has been exposed by the pits which have developed on the road hardly about few days of its repair.
Locals informed that a small stretch of road about 100 meters in Gole Mela near petrol pump in Udhampur who joined Darh road with the National Highway and this stretch has been repaired many times but every time it again gets in bad shape.
Some people allege use of substandard material and low quality work as the reason behind the stretch taking the bad shape again and again and others say if concern authorities well known plying thousands of heavy vehicles like trucks and others daily going toward Darh road to national highway or national highway to Darh road through this stretch so why the authorities failed again and again to resolved of one time solution ? ", they alleged
"Be it any reason but the ultimate sufferers are the people who use this road daily and adding that the concerned authorities should take a strict note of this ", a local added. A student said in this age of advanced technology if the technical reason behind the road becoming bad again and again is not known then it is only the lackadaisical approach of the concerned authorities and none else.
