Early Times Report

Jammu, Oct 29: Displaced Kashmiri Sikh conference president Harmohinder Singh had hailed the recent decision of union home minister’s order( Reorganization of Jammu and Kashmir State) that any one can purchase hand in Jammu and Kashmir UT for commercial and residential or any other purposes . This will definitely paved the way for overall development of two regions of JK UT. Kashmir division as well as Jammu division viz industrially, tourism, multinational companies, film city, multiplexes, Amusement parks, and other mods of recreation, winter sports activities and boom of western type of developments.
S. Harmohiner singh said while talking with the reporters that the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir under article 370 and 35A could not flourish due to the mis governance both at center and state the previous govts. Always played Kashmir card as a disputed territory for their vested interests and garnered a suitable vote bank on the cost of gullible masses of both divisions with impunity. They exploited the religion card also which create a wedge among various sections of society resulting a wave of so-called freedom armored struggle came into being in early days of 1989-90 which created mayhem and coercion amongst minorities viz Kashmiri pundits, Sikhs, and nationalistic people belonging to Muslim community forced displacement and migration of 3.50 lakhs people took place form vulnerable areas of entire state. The Jammu division also felt the brunt of migration form Chenab valley and Peer Panchal region. S. Harmohinder Singh president DKSC criticized the leaders who are hell bent upon to scuttle the new land law in JK UT by arousing the sentiments of gullible masses. People must understand those who raise such bogies cannot shut the eyes of people now anymore and cannot hoodwink them.
He emphasized the need for awareness amongst the people that Indian government Wants to develop JKUT in tourism sector like Switzerland in Kashmir and Chenab valleys and Jammu the hub of information technology like Bengaluru.

They have resorted to hunger strike along with small children and women folk for last 30 days at Jagti township. It is tantamount to human rights violation. Govt. should take immediate necessary steps to end their strike.
