| Safai Karamchari union holds protest against JMC | | |

Jammu, Oct 29: Rinku Gill along with his civil safai Karamchari union held a protest against the corrupt practices taking place in JMC.
Gill told the media that there are few officers in the JMC who demand bribe from skis for doing their any work.
"The contractors are deceiving the safaikaramchari by deliberately marking then absent for two or three days every month to swindle their wages when the skis asked then about the curtailment in their salary they said that we have cut your T.D.S. which is actually paid by the department and it is not deducted from the salary of the safaikaramchari, he said and added, "That there are 1300+ safaikaramchari working Under NGO's' suppose if their three days salary is curtailed so these contractors are swindling about one million every month." "Soni , who has been appointed for the. E.P.F. by the department, charge Rs. 500 to fill the online PF form he is also' responsible for the fraud that is taking place in case of safaikaramchari attendance because the verifies their attendance sheet", he alleged.
"Replace Soni who is appointed as consultant of NGO workers with any other honest person. We have held this protest to aware the administration about all tha malpractices that bring injustice', he said. |
