JAMMU, Oct, 31: The 36th death anniversary of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi was observed today at Sunny Farms Kaluchak. Senior Congress leader Th Jai Singh was the main organizer. Rich tributes were paid to the former Prime Minister.
Speaking on the occasion, Th. Jai Singh highlighted the qualities of Indira Gandhi. Singh said that she was known as iron lady of India. She was the first Prime Minister of India who divided Pakistan into two parts in 1971 war.
Surinder Shindi Sec PCCI, Kirtan Singh, Prabha Slathia, Sarpanch Kamal Choudary, Nirmal Singh Mehta, Geeta Dogra, Anand Khajuria, Bhisham Singh Raju, Sarpanch Shamsher Singh, Sarpanch Ajmer Singh, Ajit Singh, Praveen Singh, Ravish Singh Slathia, Pawan Singh Panch, Bedi PCCI, Naresh Maini, Pawan Singh Charak Panch, Paramjeet Aingh Pamma and Ashok Singh Naib Sarpanch also participated in the programme. |
