BJP pays tributes to Sardar Patel on his birth anniversary

JAMMU, Oct, 31: BJP unit of Jammu West organized a program on the birth anniversary of "Iron Man of India", Sardar Vallabhai Patel and paid rich tributes to him. Former State President BJP J&K Sat Sharma (CA) along with District President Munish Khajuria and other senior leaders of the party remembered Sardar Patel's work for building a modern India.
State Secretary and Incharge Jammu West Rekha Mahajan, Seh Prabhari Shailja Gupta, District General Secretaries Rajesh Gupta and Karan Sharma, Mandal Presidents Raveesh Mengi and Keshav Chopra were also present.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that Sardar Patel was truly a great social leader, his work was characterized by excellence. He said he has made his spot in the history of our nation and in our hearts for eternity. He played an instrumental role in India's struggle for independence and is hailed today for his contributions. He stated that Patel worked with astonishing speed to dismantle the history of imperialism and create the geography of unity with the spirit of nationalism. He also stated that he saved India from Balkanisation and integrated even the weakest of limbs into the national framework.
Munish Khajuria said that Sardar Patel dedicated his whole life to serve mankind and humanity and today he is remembered for his deed done for the nation which can never be forgotten. He also said that it was Patel who laid down the structure of a modern India and we all must take inspiration from his works.
District Office Bearers, Mandal office bearers and Presidents of Morchas were also present in the Shradhanjli programme.
