Jammu, Oct 31: Rich Harvest school, Bari Brahmana celebrated “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” to commemorate 145th birth anniversary of the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, who played pivot role in uniting India: to foster the idea of national integration in the young minds and teaching fraternity.
The day began with a virtual informative morning assembly where the participants were administrated a pledge while the following hours of the auspicious day saw an enthusiastic participation of the student community in various activities like Essay Writing, Quiz Competition and Poster Designing. An ambiance of patriotism was created through a host of activities carried out by the students. Speaking on the auspicious occasion, Principal RHS, Anita Bhatia said that India is a symbol of unity in diversity and being loyal stewards of our nation we are entrusted the responsibility to foster the same.
The Managing Director RHS, MS. Ruchi Charak, emphasized the necessity to maintain the integrity and unity in our immediate society to ensure the fulfillment of fundamental duties which make us realise the ideals set by our constitution.
Imbued with the feelings of patriotism and the richness of Indian heritage the student community and teaching fraternity of RHS vowed to be responsible stewards of the nation.
