Div Com reviews progress on Mubark Mandi Heritage Complex

JAMMU, Oct, 31: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma today reviewed the status of conservation and restoration work of Mubark Mandi heritage complex here at a meeting with concerned officers.
The meeting was attended by Executive Director, Mubark Mandi Heritage complex, Deepika K Sharma besides Engineers of executing agencies.
Executive director apprised the Div Com about the works taken up for preservation and conservation of the prestigious historical complex. She informed him that the work on the various sections is in progress and being monitored regularly.
The Divisional Commissioner asked the Executive Director to hold a meeting with concerned officers and executing agencies and resolve all the bottlenecks which are hampering the work progress. He also asked concerned officers to expedite the work on various components of the project for its timely completion.
Later, in another meeting of revenue officers, the Divisional Commissioner reviewed the progress on land acquisition cases for various development works
The meeting was attended by ADC Jammu, SDM North Jammu, Custodian Jammu, Assistant Commissioner central and other concerned while Deputy Commissioner Samba attended the meeting through video conferencing.
The Div Com sought details of each land acquisition case of district Samba and Jammu. The concerned officers apprised the Div Com about the present status and ongoing procedure.
The Div Com asked the concerned officers to expedite the process of land acquisition and follow all pending cases for early resolution.
