Thousands of youth appeared for PAA written test in Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, Nov 10: More than 4000 unemployed youth in Kishtwar District today appeared in written test for Panchayat Accounts Assistant (PAA) at 12 different examination centers at Paddar, Sarthal and District Headquarter Kishtwar.
As per the details available with Early Times, majority of the enthusiastic youths rushed to the examination centers well in advance.
The desperate unemployed youths had come up with full preparations and are hoping to break the shackles this time by qualifying for the post advertised by the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection Board.
The officials told the Early Times that about 78 posts out of around 950 posts advertised by the JKSSRB had been allotted to District Kishtwar added that the examination center at HSS Boys Kishtwar had maximum strength of candidate with 500 job aspirants were allotted this center located in the heart of Kishtwar town.
The administration has made elaborated arrangements well in advance and deputed senior KAS officers, Magistrates, Educationist and other officials for successful conduct of the examination.
Speaking to Early Times, several aspirants slam the successive governments for exploding of unemployment problem in Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir added that previous Governor and now the LGs had promised around 50000 jobs to unemployed youths on various occasions.
The unemployed youths inform that the process of recruitment by JKSSRB is very slow and also rued the charging of skyrocketed fees from the job aspirants for each advertised posts.
Some youths also slammed the management of various power projects under execution in Kishtwar District for denying jobs to the local educated unemployed youths beside continuous political interference in these projects.
The youths urged upon the government to constitute a board at District Kishtwar for recruitment of youths in Kishtwar power projects so that poor unemployed youths with no political backing could find jobs in these power projects.
