Shiksha Niketan conducts food competition

Jammu, Nov 10: Shiksha Niketan Sr. Sec. School Jeevan Nagar Jammu conducted an inter Shiksha Niketan sister – concern schools a “Fireless Looking Competition” for the students of class 2nd on 9th of November,2020. Manjeet Kour (Teacher of Scouts -n- Guides) was Chief Guest and Judge of this event.
The object of this activity was to engage the children in positive “Sensory Experience with a variety of healthy food. Indentify their personal “Food preferences”, Develop their food- preparation skills and to know the “Fireless cooking” culture. There were 6 participants 2 students from each school participated in this competition.
All these students prepared their items in a very hygienic manner.
This Competition was full of fun and creative experience for the children.
The students were adjudged on the basis of their presentation and confidence. Manjeet Kour, the judge of this competition appreciated the students saying “cooking is an art which must be known to everyone”.
Parvinder Kour (Incharge of Primary Wing of Jeevan Nagar School) also addressed the students with encouraging words.
