JAMMU, Nov 17: Prof J P Sharma Vice Chancellor SKUAST-Jammu took review meeting of different Faculties, Research Stations, ACHR, Krishi Vigyan Kendras, Ongoing Research (AICRP's) and Adhoc Projects.
During the meeting Prof Sharma reviewed the progress of different ongoing developmental projects, functioning of various Divisions of Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Basic Sciences, Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, KVK's of Jammu and Samba district, Research project work by the end of third quarter.
Professor Sharma also took stock of the status of budget utilization under different components viz., Development fund, Creation and modernization of Research farms, development of recreational facilities including WiFi in different Hostels of Chatha and R S Pura Campuses. He further advised the officers of the university to utilize the unspent balance judiciously at the earliest for the creation of assets for the university. At the outset Dr Deepak Kher, Director Planning and Monitoring, SKUAST-Jammu welcomed the Vice Chancellor, Statutory Officers, Heads of Divisions, KVK,s Research Station and also put forth the various issues to be taken up for the effective working and utilization of allotted budget.
Meeting was attended by all Statutory officers, Heads of different Divisions, KVKs of Jammu and Samba, nearby Research Station, PI of various Research and Adhoc projects. |
