JAMMU, Nov 17: The Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president, Ravinder Raina, struck a controversy after he said that Abdullahs and Muftis, a reference to the political families of J-K, shall have to chant "Jai Shree Ram" in the future.
This statement comes ahead of upcoming District Development Council (DDC) polls in November. He told a local news channel in Jammu, "Just wait and watch. Abdullahs, Muftis, Azads, and others shall have to chant Jai Shri Ram and Bharat Mata Ki Jai," and added that those who will have to live in India shall have to chant Bharat Mati Ki Jai.
"Bharat main agar rehna hai to Bharat Mata ki jai kahna hoga. Tiranga haat main lena hoga," he said. BJP J-K chief noted that all the leaders will be sent to jail and no one will be spared. "Yeh chor, daku, aantakwadi, gadaar, looteri hai. They know BJP is sweeping elections in Jammu and Kashmir. They are taking money from China to vitiate the atmosphere in Jammu and Kashmir. No one will be spared."
Talking about People's Alliance for Gupkar Declaration, Raina said that CBI, ED, and ACB are after them because they have gobbled up money. "They are fraud. They have swindled money. They will be sent to jail. CBI is going through files. ED and ACB are after them. Whenever Farooq Abdullah, Omar Abdullah and Mehboba Mufti became chief ministers, they looted money. They have always adopted divided and rule policy whenever they were in power," he said.
