Jammu, Nov 17: A woman Panchayat member from Akhnoor block, who allegedly resorted to unfair means by using matric certificate of her sister, is planning to contest the forthcoming District Development Council polls slated to be held from November 28 across the J&K UT.
A complaint along with relevant documents against the woman sarpanch has been submitted to concerned authorities for appropriate action by a whistle blower, sources told Early Times.
They said, “The complaint has been lodged against a woman Sarpanch of Akhnoor block who contested Panchayat elections, on name of her sister and used her documents to get benefits of qualification, fraudulently.”
“The woman in the past had got FMPHW training from Madre Mehrbaan Paramedical Nursing Institute from 2011 to 2013 by using her sister’s matric and other certificates to get admission as she had not cleared her matric exam. She illegally and fraudulently used her sister’s qualifications and other documents to get benefits,” they alleged. |
