All set to empower people at grass root level: MP Jugal

JAMMU, Nov 21: Amid great applause and large gathering, Geetu Aulakh, the Bharatiya Janata Party candidate for District Development Council election from Phallian Mandal block today filed her nomination at SDM office Gadigarh.
She was accompanied by party bigwigs like Member Parliament Jugal Kishore Sharma, former ministers Sukhnandan Chaudhary, Bali Bhagat and Kavinder Gupta.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Jugal Kishore Sharma said that the process of initiation of contest for DDC elections is all set to empower people at grass root level. He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of empowering people is reaching its final stage
Kavinder Gupta joined in saying that BJP is the only party that has taken drastic steps for the empowerment of people in all states, particularly in Jammu and Kashmir. "It is after the independence that BJP rose to occasion to strengthen democracy at the grass root level. This will complete the three tier empowerment of Panchayati Raj as power will be decentralized at all levels ," said Kavinder.
Geetu Aulakh , coming out of SDM office after filing her nomination while talking to the media said that she has only one vision of joint collaboration with her people and schedule her all efforts as desired by her people in the constituency.
"I do not want to make big claims at the moment. I am grateful to BJP for having given me the mandate to contest the elections. If voted to power , my first priority will be to reach door to door to my people and sit with them, decide and formulate the strategy for holistic development of my constituency ." said Geetu Aulakh. The voting for the block is scheduled for December 10.
