| Govt PG Rajouri celebrates NCC Day | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
RAJOURI, Nov 24: NCC units of Govt. P.G. College Rajouri celebrated NCC with great ferver and gaiety. About 80 boys and girls cadets participated in the celebration. Principal of the college Prof(Dr.) Shakeel Ahmed Raina presided over the function and Col. Shrikant Rai Commanding officer 01 J&K ARTY BTY Poonch was the Chief Guest on the occasion. College NCC officers Mr Tanwir Ahmed and Prof. Robina Kouser conducted the proceedings of the function.
Col. Shrikant Rai delivered a motivational lecture and awared the audience about the basic essence of NCC and it benefits. He also showed lot of pleasure regarding performance of NCC units of the college.
Prof (Dr.) Shakeel Ahmed Raina in his presidential address gave a detail of achievements of NCC Units of the college during last one year and also spoke on mission and vision of the this prestigious organization. Earlier three NCC cadets Mr. Zaffar Hussain, Mr. Ayaz Khan and Ms. Sultana Mirza also presented their views. Mr. Manish Kumar, Mr. Abhishak Sharma, Ms. Rashida Naz and Ms. Sultana Mirza performed the duty of Piloting. At the end all the cadets participated in NCC song presentation. NCC Cadet Mr. Zaffar Hussain was also honoured at this occasion for his participation in RD Parade 2020 in New Delhi. Prof. Yassir Chowdhary, Prof. Asrar Ahmed. Prof. Javed Ahmed and Prof. Khalid Bhatti also attended the programme. |
