Rapper Shen B's latest single 'Sone Do' rules music charts

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 25: Jammu based rapper- songwriter, Shen B popular in the indie hip-hop music space for his track 'Jaanleva', has yet again achieved new heights with his latest single 'Sone Do'. Released this month, the song marks Shen B's tenth project for the year of 2020. Through its raw and heartfelt lyrics, he expresses how the shadows of his life overpower his determination, strength and will to fight against them. Deep emotions that capture the pillar of strength and light in Shen's life, his Amma (mother), are the bedrock of this project.
Touching the hearts of Jammuites through the serene, picturesque sights of Bhaderwah, the music video seamlessly weaves an equally woeful, colorless story of a perturbed artist tired of the trials and tribulations of life. Directed and edited by Shen B's longtime ally, Wikki Koul, this project stands closest to both as they barely knew its significance while working on it. "A part of me was fed up with the struggle I have faced since I started my musical journey in 2010 and another part felt empty. My mother was with us at the music video shoot and this track was her favorite, especially the line where I mention her. Little did I know that she would not live to see the release of this project, and instead it became a composition through which she continues to live forever in this world", adds Shen B on behalf of both him and Wikki, who lost their mothers in unfortunate circumstances before the release of this project.
"This song was like a revelation to me, as if God was preparing me for what was about to come. I don't know why I decided to shoot a sequence where I am digging a grave; it just came to me. So, in short, I didn't make the song, the song made me make it", expresses Shen B in a detailed interview about the release of 'Sone Do' and his music journey with the globally popular music magazine, Rolling Stone.
Noting the ongoing popularity of the track across India, Shen B comments, "Every word of 'Sone Do' is like a part of my soul put in words, and resonates with everyone going through a similar phase in life."
