UDHAMPUR, Nov 27: A total 68 polling parties were today dispatched to Dudu Basantgarh and Latti Marothi which are going to polls in the Phase – of the District Development Council & Panchayat by elections.
The polling staff left under tight security cover and under the supervision of District Panchayat Election Officer, Dr Piyush Singla, here from Government Degree College (boys).
The District Panchayat Election Officer, Udhampur emphasized upon the Micro Observers, Zonal and Sectoral Magistrates to evolve better coordination on the day of polling November 28, 2020 to ensure effective polling.
Sixteen polling parties were dispatched yesterday for remote areas of the twin constituencies.
Among others present were Additional District Development Commissioner, Ashok Kumar, Chief Planning Officer, Rajeev Bhushan, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Viqar Ahmed Giri, Assistant Commissioner Development, Mushtaq Chowdhary, Deputy District Election Officer Dr Shavi, ARTO, Rachna Sharma and other officers of various departments were present on the occasion. |
