Civil Defence Camp concludes

Jammu, Nov 28 : Civil Defence Camp of 05 days C.D Training was Concluded at Govt. Medical College Jammu. During the Training 150 Civil Defence Volunteers of G. Active Security have been imparted the techniques of First Aid, CPR, Fire Fighting and conduct of rescue operations during any disaster/eventuality. The training was carried on under close supervision of Dy. SP Shashi Thakur, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu. Speaking on the occasion, Dy. Controller Civil Defence Jammu highlights the importance and role of Civil Defence in the human life and also stressed upon the motto of the Civil Defence i.e, selfless services of C. D Volunteer to the nation as and when required.
Dr. Shashi Sudan Sharma, Principal, GMC & Associated Hospitals alongwith Dr. Dara Singh, Medical Supdt. GMC and Dr. Arun Sharma, Medical Supdt. Super Speciality Hospital were also present on the occasion.
The training Programme was organized in-coordination with Shri Sayeed Nissar Ahmad, Incharge Security GMC and Retd. Capt. Variyam Chand, Sub. Incharge Secuirty of G. Active Secuirty,Jammu Division.
Dr. Shashi Sudan Sharma, Principal GMC & Associated Hospitals Jammu appreciated the initiative taken by the Civil Defence organization in enlightening the Security personnel of GMC as well as Associated Hospitals with regard to the techniques of First Aid, CPR, Fire Fighting and conduct of rescue operations during any disaster/eventuality.
Besides above Sh. Paramjeet Kumar, Chief Warden and Sh. R. Vijay Magotra, Dy. Divional Warden have also attended the function.
