11/29/2020 10:14:20 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Nov 29: Welcoming that the names of the land encroachers of infamous Roshni Land scam are being published, Panthers Party criticized the LG administration that it has been adopting two yard sticks in making the names disclosed.
Addressing a press conference here today, Provincial President JKNPP Rajesh Padgotra said that the names of the political leaders of Congress, PDP and NC were being published but those of BJP leaders were not made public. He also criticized Union MoS Anurag Thakur for protecting the land grabbers of his party. "This policy of BJP is deliberate as it wants to get mileage from the ongoing DDC elections", said Padgotra.
He questioned the LG administration and the central leaders of BJP for their silence about Ex-BJP MLA RS Pathania who has encroached 32 Kanals and 9 Marlas of State land. He said that govt has not published the name of Kavinder Gupta Ex-Deputy CM who had grabbed 41 Kanals and 9 Marlas of State land at village Ghank in Tehsil Bhalwal, Jammu on Khasra No. 1373 and 1375. He castigated Dr. Nirmal Singh Ex-Deputy CM for constructing a palatial mansion in Nagrota in violation of Army guidelines. He said that High Court had issued even the contempt notice against the govt but no action had been taken so far.
He said that the dual policy of the LG administration in protecting the BJP leaders and publishing the names of the others was intolerable. He warned that Panthers Party would take an agitation course against the govt until names of all the land encroachers were exposed and put in the public domain.
Prof (Rtd) Jai Kumar Sharma and Jeet Kumar Verma, Vice President Block Vijaypur were also present in the press conference.
