| CF appeals PM to appoint separate Commissioner Tourism | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 29: Citizen's Forum has appealed Prime MInister Narendra Modi to appoint separate Commissioner Tourism for Jammu Tourism.
R K Chadha President Citizen's Forum has requested that India has inked a pact to build $250 mn dam in Kabul as an investment for peace and development in Afganistan, we welcome it.
We understand that Kabul will get sufficient safe and drinking water for 20 lakh residents.
The project We understand is pending for the last 2 years because of objections by Pakistan.
We also like to remind that Jammu City also having a population of about 18 lakh residents are waiting and begging for sufficient safe and drinking water for the last 30 years , the corrupt leaders and Ministers saw to it that funds are not spent in Jammu.
Few months back on our request Former Lg. GC Murmu had prepared a plan for bringing water from River Chinab for Jammu City project cost only Rs. 640 Crorers. Sent the proposal to the center for funds but no reply.
We request that people of Jammu city should also be provided this facility demanding since 1994. |
