My daughter giving me death threat; alleges Shehla Rashid’s father

Jammu, Nov 30: ‘Tukday Tukday Gang’s’ face and former student leader of JNU, Shehla Rashid’s father on Monday alleged that his daughter was giving him death threats.
Abdul Rashid Shora, father of Shehla Rashid has approached the office of DGP, Jammu and Kashmir Police with a written complaint that he was facing death threats from his own daughter.
Seeking security cover from the DGP, Abdul Rashid in his letter addressed to the DGP has also claimed that Shehla is being supported by his elder daughter Asma Rashid, his wife Zubeida Shora and one of the security guards, Sakib Ahmad.
Abdul Rashid also informed the DGP that soon after Shehla Rashid jumped into politics her threat perception increased.
Abdul Rashid has claimed that just two months before the arrest of Zahoor Watali in terror funding case was called by Zahoor Watali and Rasheed Engineer (Ex-MLA) at Watali’s residence at Sanat Nagar, Srinagar and announced that they were going to give Rs 3 crore to Shehla to launch new political party.
He alleged that anti-elements were funding his daughter who is running a number of NGOs.
“I have a strong belief that there are anti-national activities going on in my house”, he alleged and called for an NIA probe into funding of Rashid and her other associates.
