| Miscreants demolished shed at Shamshaan Ghat Bhour Camp: SEWA | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Nov 30: Shamshaan Enlightenment Welfare Association (SEWA) expressed with great concern that some local miscreants demolished newly constructed bathroom at Shamshaan Ghat Bhour Camp, Jammu.
Jagdish Kumar Sharma, president and all the members of SEWA said that the demolition act is concerned directly with general public and deeply hurt the sentiments of people of all walks. This act also seems to facilitate encroachers / land grabbers to extend their boundaries upto existing road crossing through Shamshaan Ghat. Viral Audio clip reveals that culprits tried to communalize the issue between the societies.
It is also reiterated that there was a shed constructed by H S Bali, ex-MLA on the request of people in the year 1986 used as a seating place during cremation. The roof of the shed was removed by the contractor and a new bathroom was constructed on the same foundation and pillars for the purpose of Washroom/ Public convenience during cremation. But unfortunately the contractor demolished the newly constructed bathroom / washroom with the reasons best known to him. People of the society in general and members of society in particular requested higher authorities to consider the matter seriously, to punish the culprits involved in heinous crime against the society and resolve the issue immediately before the aggrieved protesters come on roads and any untoward incident took place.
