| Phase-II DDC elections: 115 Polling parties deployed for Mahanpur, Mandli | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, Nov 30: District Election Authority Kathua under the supervision of District Panchayat Election Officer (DPEO), Om Prakash Bhagat today dispatched 115 polling parties for Mahanpur and Mandli where polling is scheduled to be held on December 01 under Phase-II of District Development Council elections and Panchyat by-polls .
The polling in the twin blocks would also be held for 5 vacant Sarpanch and 6 Panch seats will also be held in Block Mahanpur and Mandli respectively.
The DPEO Kathua informed that a total of 115 polling stations have been established, of these 19 are identified as Hypersensitive, 12 Sensitive and 84 as Normal.
He said adequate security arrangements have been put in place for free and fair elections.
Among others present were SSP Kathua, Shailendra Mishra, DDEO Kathua Narayan Dutt ( ACD, Tehsildar HQ Suninderjeet Kaur, Nodal Officers and other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
