Rotract Club organizes blanket, clothes donation drive

Jammu , Nov 30: A blanket and cloth donation drive was organised by the Rotaract Club of Jammu City, affiliated to Rotary Club of Jammu City, on November 30 on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti wherein 17 members and 7 volunteers of the Club participated enthusiastically to donate blankets and clothes to the underprivileged people of the society in the bone chilling cold of Jammu.
The Rotracters also donated masks among the needy people, keeping in view the Covid-19 pandemic and followed all the Covid19 SOPs.
The event was planned and executed by Rtr. Ojus Masson, President , Rotaract Club of Jammu City, Rtr. Chaitley Sharma, Secretary, Rotaract Club of Jammu City and the entire team of RCJC.
The Club had also organised clothes and blanket donation Drive 1.0 and Drive 2.0 on November 12 and November 24 respectively. Four different areas were covered where the Club donated clothes, masks and blankets among over 200 people.
Speaking on the occasion, Rtr. Ojus Masson said the the Rotract Club of Jammu City will continue to organize such and similar programmes in future too in order to help the less privileged sections of the Society.
