RAMGARH, Dec 1: Career, Placement and Psychological Counselling Cell, GDC Ramgarh organized different activities under the initiative of Government of India i.e. 'Manodarpan'. The 'Manodarpan' an initiative is implemented by Higher Education Department, J&K under the leadership of Talat Parvez Rohella, Commissioner Secretary to Govt. of J&K Higher Education Department.
Placement and Training Cell of the College Conducted online Crash Course for the general public for the State Competitive Exams,2020 to be conducted by JKSSB from 1 Nov. 2020. Around 40 students from the various districts of Jammu Province were enrolled in the Course. All the faculty members of the college uploaded Course content as per the syllabus which involves study material in PDF form and lecture videos. Prof. (Dr.) Meeru Abrol, Principal of the College said that this crash course benefitted the candidates in preparing for the exam in a better way during the period of COVID-19. This course was conducted by Dr. Sandeep Kumar, Convener, Placement and Training Cell, GDC Ramgarh. Psychological Counselling Cell of the College organised awareness quiz on 'Stress Management' on 26-11-2020. The main purpose of organising such type of quiz is to highlight the symptoms and remedial measures of various types of stress, phobia, anxiety etc during COVID-19 pandemic. |
