Srishti represents India at 6th BRICS Youth Summit

JAMMU, Dec 1: NSS volunteer and National Speaker, Srishti Koul, a student of University of Jammu was selected by the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Government of India as the speaker and representative of the nation at 6th BRICS Youth Summit hosted by Russia this year.
BRICS is the acronym coined to associate five major emerging national economies: Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa. The BRICS members are known for their significant influence on regional affairs
The 15 members Indian Youth Delegation attended the programme from November 29 till December 1.
Indian Youth Delegation comprises youth from diverse fields, representing all parts of the country.
Srishti Koul spoke on the specified subject ‘Official and public diplomacy’.
She is currently pursuing her master’s in chemistry from University of Jammu.
Srishti has also participated in Republic Day Camp 2020 at New Delhi, National Youth Parliament 2019, National Integration Camp 2020, Pre-RD camp at Chandigarh, NSS National Adventure Camp 2018.
She is an active NSS volunteer continuously participating in social activities like plantation, Swachh Bharat, Digital awareness and much more.
She has been the first girl of J&K UT to represent India for BRICS Youth Summit.
