| National Sikh Font expresses gratitude for Guru Nanak Dev Chair | | |

Jammu, Dec 1: National Sikh Font (NSF) Chairman S. Varinderjeet Singh has expressed his happiness and thanked the Central government and LG Manoj Sinha for establishing Chair of Guru Nanak Dev ji in University of Jammu. He has also thanked all the organizations who had worked hard for this cause. He also said that the teachings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji are still the guiding light for all the people of the world. The teaching of Guru Nanak Dev ji has always inspired brotherhood and communal harmony in the society which is the need in today’s would which is full of hatred. His teachings always inspired the people towards the path of God.
Guru Nanak Dev ji is an ocean of universal knowledge and have love for mankind, he said and added that according to Guru Nanak ji, God is the only truth of equality, love and truth. He travelled the world to spread message of peace and harmony among all communities and was against caste system.
He further said that the establishment of the chair will not only held in further research on the teaching of Guru Nanak but also help in keeping the harmony and equality in the society.
