JTC-SKF hold protest, agitation enters 62nd day

JAMMU, Dec 2: The Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K held a strong protest today for the 62nd day in Jagti township under the leadership of its president Shadi Lal Pandita.
Addressing the members, Pandita said until the government does not increase the monthly cash relief of relief holders from Rs 1300 to Rs 25,000 and our all demands are not met till then, our protest will continue in Jagti Township. Pandita said for permanent rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandits in Kashmir Valley the government should set up three satellite townships in three districts of Baramulla, Srinagar and Anantnag with political and minority status. Pandita said one government job should be given to those households where there is no government employee in the family.
Raj Kumar Tickoo unit president of Jagti JTC convenor of Soan Kashmir Front J&K and Kashi Nath Bhat vice president of JTC, SKF said in one voice there are some pensioners in our community who receive very little pension they are not able to afford, they should be given free ration immediately.
The advisory members, Vice presidents, general secretaries, secretaries and other members of the organization namely Ravinder Koul, M L Razdan , Vijay Bakshi , Kamal Ji Pandita, Ramesh Suri, Gurmeet Singh , Gh Mohmad Khan, Ab Rahman , Chand Ji Koul, Sanjay Raina, Kuldeep Raina, Javaid Ahmad and others said in one voice that over- aged youth of migrants have been ruined due to deportation and those who have no livelihood they should be given compensation and bank loans without interest.
