| GDC Vijaypur organizes online lecture on "Career Opportunities" | | |

jammu, Dec 02: Government Degree College (GDC) Vijaypur organized an online lecture under the Manodarpan initiative of MHRD, Government of India on "Career Opportunities for Graduates" as a Career Counselling Activity of the College. Ayaz Mohmood Dar (SRF, M.Sc., M.Tech., PGCGI, CCST), Director and Founder of Tehkeek International-An Academic and Research Trust was the resource person on the occasion. The lecture was targeted for graduate students in general and he shared valuable information about the career opportunities for these students. He shared his pearls of wisdom and valuable knowledge regarding the Administrative (Grade I and Grade II), Scientific and Industrial jobs and how students should prepare themselves so that they hit the bull's eye in the first go. He also presented a judicious explanation regarding the importance of scientific jobs and avenues in research. He further exhorted that there are ample opportunities available for graduate students as they can apply for several graduate jobs or become self-employed (entrepreneurs) or pursue their post-graduation and doctoral studies or take a gap year. All one needs is to fix the goal and try achieving it with mere dedication and hard work. He further said that his academy will provide free career counselling to students as and when required. |
