jammu, Dec 02: Civic Karamchari Union held a protest demonstration today in support of its demands. Led by their president Rinku Gill, the Union members put forth their demands before the administration of Jammu Municipal Corporation
The protesters demanded Re-Organization of Jammu Municipal Corporation, regularization of
33 Drivers, increase in the pay of the Daily wagers of JMC according to UT rules, provision of 2.5 day salary for all field sanitation staff at the earliest, provision of Boots, Jacket and Uniform to Safaikaramcharis, promotion of drivers and cleaners besides raising other issues.
The Union said that in its last reminder, it was informed to the authorities that if its demands are not conceded then the Union will go on strike, adding that it is our final notice, if our demands do not get fulfilled within 15 days, we will have no other option rather than to launch an agitation. |
