I&C department's Divisional level Clearance Committee approves 2 Service sector proposals

JAMMU, Dec 3: A meeting of Divisional Level Single Window Clearance Committee of Industries & Commerce Department Jammu was held today to discuss and approve the proposals for setting up new Enterprises. The Committee meeting was chaired by Director Industries & Commerce Jammu, Anoo Malhotra. The Committee deliberated upon two proposals for setting up new Enterprises under Service Sector, involving an investment of Rs.72.67 crore. M/S D.C Agro proposing to undertake activity of Cold Chain is being established in Industrial Estate Ghatti, Kathua having an investment of Rs 29.52 crore with an employment potential for 30 persons was approved. Another project M/S Empyrean Skyview Private Ltd. (Unit-II) being established for providing Tourism amenities like Zipline, Magic Carpet and Food Courts at Village Sangyote in District Udhampur. The project envisages an investment of Rs 43.15 crore with an employment potential of 36 persons was also approved. M. Harun MD J&K SIDCO, Trishala Kumari, Joint Director Industries & Commerce, Babu Ram GM DIC Kathua, Pankaj Anand GM DIC Udhampur, Sanjeev Jain, Executive Engineer EM&RE Circle Kathua, Rajesh Pandoh GM SICOP, T C Thakur GM SIDCO, Anil Sharma Divisional Officer J&K PCB and Deepak Abrol Divisional Officer J&K PCB Udhampur attended the meeting.
