11 candidates in fray for Bounjwah, Nagseni DDC constituencies

KISHTWAR, Dec 3: District Election Authority Kishtwar today dispatched 37 polling parties to Bounjwah and Nagseni constituencies where polling is being held tomorrow under the phase III of eight Phase District Development Council Elections and Panchayat by polls.
A total 11 candidates are in fray including 4 for Bounjwah DDC constituency and 5 for Nagseni DDC constituency. A total 10342 voters in Bounjwah DDC constituency and 8834 voters in Nagseni DDC constituency are going to decide the fate of the contesting candidates.
The polling parties dispatched included 17 for Bounjwah DDC Constituency and 20 for Nagseni Constituency. Earlier, yesterday 05 polling parties were dispatched to far off polling stations of Bounjwah DDC constituency.
The District Panchayat Election Officer, Ashok Kumar Sharma, while interacting with the polling staff advised them to perform their assigned duty diligently.
Meanwhile, the DPEO has appealed public of the Kishtwar to come out in large numbers to participate in the election process for establishing democracy at grass root level.
