Samvedna organises police public meet

UDHAMPUR, Dec 4: Samvedna Society Chairman Keshav Chopra with SHO Latti Inspector Ajay Engotra organized Police Public Meet at Latti in which Sarpanch Latti Kasturi Lal Gupta, S.I Prob. Arwinder Singh, S.I Prob. Arun Bawa along with prominent citizens and youth of the area participated.
During meeting threadbare discussion related to the societal brotherhood, drugs, crime against women, traffic were raised, Samvedna team also felicitated Insp Ajay Engotra for his new assignment, Samvedna Team distributed pamphlets of awareness about safety measures need to be taken in daily life.
Speaking on the occasion Keshav Chopra said that we should join hands with police and civil administration so that we can together work to make our society crime free. Keshav Chopra also appreciated the role of police department and said that we are lucky that a young team of police officers working day and night for the people. Speaking on the occasion Sarpanch Kasturi Lal Gupta raised the issue of drugs and requested the police to take sharp look on the people involved in selling drugs, Kasturi Lal Gupta also assured the police that he along with his team will work together with police department.
