Terrorists open indiscriminate fire in Srinagar; PDP leader’s PSO injured

Srinagar: Terrorists on Monday once again struck in Jammu and Kashmir and injured a personal security officer or PSO of a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader.

The Kashmir Zone Police said that terrorists carried out the attack in Natipora area of Srinagar when they opened indiscriminate fire. PSO Manzoor Ahmad, who sustained injuries in the attack, was rushed to a hospital.

A hunt has been launched for the terrorists after the area was cordoned off.

“In an indiscriminate firing by terrorists, Manzoor Ahmad, Personal Security Officer of a PDP leader got injured at Natipora in Srinagar. He has been shifted to hospital. Area has been cordoned off. Further details shall follow,” the Kashmir Zone Police stated.

More details are awaited.
