DPS organizes art & craft fest

Jammu, Dec 19: The Art and Craft fest an inter school drawing and Craft competition, under the banner of Jammu Sahodaya Complex Jammu chapter was organized virtually at Delhi Public School Udhmapur.
More than 20 schools from in and around Jammu participated in the competition.
The competition was divided into GROUP 1: Alluring Artists –for Classes VI to VIII and GROUP 2 Riveting Folk for Classes IX to XII, GROUP 1 was further divided into two categories “KALA” – (Art) and “RACHNA”-(Craft) - GROUP 2 was also divided into two categories “KALPANA” (Art) and “NIRMAN”-(Craft) –
The Chief Guest of the occasion was Pramaod Srivastava Principal MIER Academy school Jammu and President Sahodya Schools Complex Jammu . The Guest of the honour was Dr. J.C Gupta Pro Vice Chairman DPS Udhampur.
The other dignitaries who witnessed the occasion were Vivek Gupta (Managing Director DPS Udhampur) Dr. Kunal Anand (Principal DPS Udhampur and General Sectetary Jammu Sahodya Schools Complex), Vikesh Kaur (Principal Doon International and PRO Sahodya Schools Complex Jammu,) K.C.S Mehta( Director/Principal IDPS Akhnoor), K.L Dogra (Principal MV International, Treasurer Sahodya Schools Complex Jammu),Mr. Anil Pathania (Principal JK Public School Kathua, TSO Jammu Sahodya Schools Complex), Seema Negi (Principal Sanjeevni World School Mumbai) and Ms. Rachna Bhimrajka (CEO Fun2learn)
The Chief Guest Pramod Srivastava in his speech stated that he was awestruck by the performance of the kids and how well the event was integrated with art education. He congratulated the Principal Dr. Kunal Anand for such a well coordinated event.
All the dignitaries who joined from Jammu and Mumbai were full of praises for the dance performance given by the kids as well as the art and Craft work done by the participants.
Dr. Kunal Anand Principal of the school thanked the team of his educators ,stakeholders and Students along with the management for their constant support and being there whenever required. He said that teaching fraternity has proven that they will not step backward when it comes on the education of their students , they have guided them and keep on guiding them for a bright and better future.
