| GCW Parade organizes 2 days workshop | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 28: Two Day workshop on the theme "Smart Learning- The way ahead" was organized by Government College for Women, Parade Ground Jammu under the chairmanship of Dr S P Saraswat, the principal of the college on 27 Dec-28 Dec, 2020 with aim to make students aware of the best utilization of the digital platform for their personal growth and career development. The programme started with the introductory note given by Dr Gurpreet Kour. On the very first day, there were two speakers. The first Speaker Atul Priya Sharma, a leading blogger talked about importance of blogging as an excellent tool for improving student's skills, vocabulary, communication and allowing the students to give voice to their passions. The second speaker Ulka Tiwari, from Amity University discussed the multitude of technological resources that can be used for improving student communication skills. She motivated the students to listen or read along with audio books to enhance their vocabulary. On the second day, Parveen Sharma, an educator and Associate editor with Asian Journal of Distance Education was the resource person and he took both the sessions. In the first session, he motivated the students to create their own podcasts as it assists them to know and understand the methods of learning work best for them and their peers and by creating podcasts for themselves. |
