DDC reviews progress of Health, Agriculture sector schemes & projects

KISHTWAR, Jan 2: District Development Commissioner, Kishtwar, Ashok Sharma today reviewed the progress of ongoing developmental projects of health and agriculture sector under district Capex and NABARD scheme, here at a meeting with the concerned officers.
The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, Mohd Iqbal; Chief Medical officer, Dr R S Manhas; XEn PWD Division, Marwah, Mohd Aslam Lone; Medical Superintendent, District Hospital, Dr Parveez Iqbal Wani; AEEs besides other officials.
During the meeting, the DDC reviewed the physical and financial status of the ongoing constructions of SDH Padder building, Health Sub Centres at Gulab Garh, Padyarna, Lopara Dachhan, Singhpora, Sighdi Chatroo and Bhadat Drabshalla.
He directed the executing agencies to expedite the pace of work to ensure the timely completion of the works besides asked them to handover the completed building to the indenting Department.
While assessing the progress made in the construction of Ayurvedic Dispensaries at Sohal Paddar, Tagood Chatroo, Inderwal and Margi Warwan which have been undertaken under NABARD, he directed the XEn of respective divisions to expedite the pace of work and complete the work by March 2021.
To augment the existing IPD of District Hospital Kishtwar, he directed the executing agency JKPCC to expedite the pace of work to ensure the completion of the construction work of additional 100-bedded building, by Dec 2021.
Medical Superintendent District Hospital was directed to monitor the work of an additional 100 beddded IPD Block and submit the weekly progress report .
XEn PWD Division Marwah briefed the meeting about the various bottlenecks faced by the executing agencies in the completion of the Community Health Centre building at Marwah.
The DDC assured him that all issues will be ironed out for execution of works without any hiccup.
Meanwhile, in another meeting of Agriculture department, the DDC reviewed the implementation of PM Kissan Samaan Nidhi, KCC, PM Fasal Bima Yojana, distribution of HYV seeds, besides other centrally sponsored schemes Viz Mission for Integrated Development of Horticulture MIDH, ATMA, PMDP and Nation Mission on Sustainable Agriculture NMSA.
