Early Times Report

Jammu, Jan 6: Aam Aadmi Party today in a joint statement issued here, have sarcastically criticized the present dispensation headed by Lt. Governor, Manoj Sinha that Chenab valley & Pir Panjal have faced the brunt of successive state governments on account of their bias, step motherly treatment and discrimination in every walk of life; be it Health or Education Department or for that matter electricity or water supply system.
It elaborated that at present, three mega Hydro-electric Projects namely Salal, Baghliar & Dul-Husti Projects which generate around 3000 Mega Watts of electricity in 24 hrs, cost approximately Rs 8 crores per hour, is being diverted to Northern grid but unfortunately, whole Jammu region in general and entire Chenab valley in particular, is living in dark and dingy situation due to the insensitive and biased attitude of the successive state governments including the present dispensation run by Lt. Governor Manoj Sinha.
The leaders who included Om Parkash Khajuria, Farooq Ahmed Banday, Ram Singh Chauhan, Mehar Singh, Ravi Shashtri, Raj Kumar Nichal, Gurmeet Singh, Raman Sharma, Rajesh Bali, Amit Langer, Kuldeep Kumar Rao, Ex. Capt. Layaqat Ali Sheikh & Sandeep Shan have appealed the general masses of Jammu & people of Chenab Valley - Pir Panjal in particular to awake from the deep slumber and do not get misled by the false emotive slogans of ruling dispensation which have proved as mere jumlas for last 6 & half years.
