People will see visible change in coming years: Kavinder
1/6/2021 10:58:47 PM
Early Times Report
JAMMU, Jan 6: Former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta has appreciated efforts of Lt Governor Manoj Sinha to attract investments worth up to $4 billion in the next two three years which would create ample opportunities for the youth of the Union Territory and will also provide security to businesses setting up shop in the insurgency-hit region.
In a statement issued here today, the senior BJP leader said that an annual budget of 1 trillion rupees ($13.68 billion) will change the overall development scenario of the Union Territory.
The wave of change has been witnessed across the country and people have realised that the future and welfare of the young generation lies in strengthening BJP and contributing in nation building under Prime Minister Modi, he said.
"The erstwhile state which was one of the best and most developed at the time of Independence has now become one of the most backward states in the entire country," the senior BJP leader said and criticised the leaders of National Conference and Congress for failing to fulfill their assurances made to the people of Jammu and Kashmir and misleading them for their petty political gains.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that BJP has a clear agenda of development and prosperity. We are not looters and have not deceived people like the regional parties, he said, adding that the time of dynastic politics and dynastic rule had ended in J&K and that the region would feel the difference soon.
